Comprehensive industry study highlights the situation in the Austrian real estate market

The study “Top Real Estate Experts 2026” by IMWF Austria, in cooperation with KURIER, analyzed a total of 2,358 real estate companies across the sectors of brokerage, property management, and real estate development, providing a comprehensive overview of the industry in Austria. The analysis was based on publicly available online reviews as well as key metrics from social networks. In total, around 7.5 million data points were evaluated.

After challenging years, the Austrian real estate market is in a phase of consolidation in 2026. Although a rapid upswing is not currently foreseeable, increasing stability is creating new perspectives and once again offering the industry greater planning certainty.
