Handler invests in the professional and personal development of its apprentices. A successful one at that! In mid-February, three of the company’s apprentices were invited to the apprentice party.
THE BEST APPRENTICES IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Hard work and consistent preparation pay off. Apprentices at Handler were recently able to experience this. With the support of their mentors, they were well prepared for their final apprenticeship examination in construction and were able to put their skills to the test. Alexander Wieser, Christoph Weber and Manuel Zottel passed this exam with excellent results. All three also took part in the regional building construction apprentices’ competition at the Langenlois construction academy and achieved strong results. Manuel Zottel even achieved 3rd place.
The three young bricklayers received another award at the “Siegerlounge – Das Fest der Lehrlinge” at the VAZ St. Pölten. Lower Austrian Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner and Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce President Wolfgang Ecker put the young people and their successes in front of the curtain and honored them.
SOLID EDUCATION FOR LIFE
As a state-awarded company that offers apprenticeships, Handler employs an average of 25 apprentices. Their training and further education is not limited to the technical area. Digitalization and working with innovative tools are also part of Handler’s standard training. The company also invests in personal development. Apprentices go through three personality development modules, which include appearance, determination and a basic understanding of business.
„The training of our apprentices is an investment in the future.
They are helping to build the world we live in.
Our aim is to train competent people who will stay with us for as long as possible.“
– Markus Handler, CEO HANDLER Gruppe
Young people have the opportunity to learn the following professions at Handler: construction engineer, carpenter, in a further, fourth year of training for carpentry technicians (technical draughtsman), double apprenticeship as a roofer/ tinsmith or IT systems technician.
